9th Annual Long Island Beauty Ball

Mondays Cancer Care hosted the 9th Annual Long Island Beauty Ball on Monday, April 27th, 2026, at Villa Lombardi’s.

The event, sponsored by New York Cancer & Blood Specialists honored Jenn Fasano, founder of Babes in Business Long Island, Dr. Luis Fandos, Founder of Alluring Age (a Mondays Charter), and Lyly Rockwell.

“The true essence of the Long Island Beauty Ball is this: for one night, we come together as a powerful community, bound by a shared love and a shared responsibility to show up for those who need us,” said Karla Waldron, Executive Director of Mondays Cancer Care.

This year at the Long Island Beauty Ball, we also honored the nurses who are the backbone of cancer care. Their steady presence, expertise, and tireless commitment play a critical role in every patient’s journey.

“Nursing is not just a career, it is not just a role you step into at the start of a shift, it’s something that you carry with you every single day,” said Andrew Kanner, SVP of Clinical Operations at New York Cancer and Blood Specialists. “When a patient hears news they never expected, when fear walks into the room before words are even spoken, when families are searching for something to hold on to, and in those moments it is the nurse who becomes the constant, the calm, the translator, the advocate, sometimes the strength for everybody else in the room.”

We recognize their impact—not just in treatment, but in the strength and support they provide every day. Thank you to all the nurses everywhere!

Thanks to the ongoing support of the health, wellness, and beauty industries plus a strong community of volunteers and donors, this year’s event was a huge success. Proceeds from the event are used to maintain and grow Mondays programming, all in support of the overall mission to reduce the physical, emotional, and cosmetic side effects of chemotherapy and radiation; all at no cost to the client.

“Seeing leaders in the health, wellness, and beauty industries, along with business owners across Long Island, come together at The Long Island Beauty Ball in support of Mondays Cancer Care confirms that we are on the right path in creating great change in how we take care of people going through this devastating disease,” said Alyssa Greiner, Assistant Executive Director, Mondays Cancer Care. “This event has captured the essence of the Mondays’ mission and gives us the ability to provide these essential programs to more communities throughout Long Island, New York, and beyond.”
